Welcome Dr. Pickar!
I’m Dr. Dan Pickar and I joined RI Dental Arts on July 27th. We’ve jumped right back into the swing of things by implementing new protocols and vigorous screening techniques to keep our patients and staff in good health during these unfamiliar times. The office is up and running again and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of our long-time patients and welcoming in many more. I’m a lifelong Cranstonian who graduated cum laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2019 where I was inducted in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. I recently completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Providence VA Medical Center. I had a phenomenal experience there and it was a privilege to be able to help those who have given so much for this country. My family and I have been going to RI Dental Arts for many years. When I was an undergraduate, I shadowed Dr. Puerini Jr. with the goal of becoming a dentist. I’m so excited to now be working alongside him and Drs. Saccoccio and Shihadeh. I can’t say enough about the wonderful, professional people I am working with each day who show genuine concern for our patients – we’ve got a great team here. My primary focus is on family dentistry including fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthetic and implant dentistry, as well as preventative and comprehensive cosmetic services such as teeth whitening, veneers, Invisalign and night guards. Now here’s a reason to smile; I’m accepting new patients, so we can get you right in.
